our loose-parts ‘junkyard’ is an ever-changing space made up of 100% recycled or 2nd hand items, natural materials & the environment in which we PLAY.

Junkyard rascals is a one-women business run by Dr Quill Darby.
Scientist turned Science Communicator & Playworker Quill ❤s all things PLAY, science, nature and sustainability. Quill has a knack for making things fun and is fascinated by the curiosity and wonder of child-led PLAY.
Quill is a qualified Playwork Practitioner through Play Australia and is currently studying Playworker Development online. She is also part of the KidsFest Shellharbour organising committee, Bush School Facilitator at Bush Magic Adventure Therapy and a proud Mum of 2 rascals and a doggo.
